What This Grant Funds

In FY 2018, the PSOB Office determined 423 death claims, 131 disability claims, and 642 education claims. The PSOB Office requires the assistance of demonstrated national leaders in the field of peer support and counseling services to provide vital and expert resources to survivors of fallen law enforcement officers, volunteer firefighters, and first responders. Leveraging the experience and resources of national organizations will serve to increase awareness of PSOB benefits, and the submission of PSOB application and claim documentation.
