What This Grant Funds

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Great Lakes Science Center (GLSC) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research assistance to assist in the restoration of native Lake Ontario fish species.  This effort will involve the culture of several fish species, some of which have never before been reared under hatchery conditions.  The effort will consist of standard fish culture practices and procedures as well as new adaptive procedures that meet the needs of the specific fish species being reared.
