What This Grant Funds

The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner wishes to collaborate with the Chesapeake Watershed CESU to increase technical capacity and accelerate the development of key information to inform stakeholders and the interested public. This funding opportunity is designed to include 3 interrelated goals that will advance our ability to inform decision making across the Chesapeake Bay watershed.  The USGS desires to make concurrent progress on all 3 goals, which include:Develop biodiversity mapping tools to inform landscape conservation and restorationImproving the predictive power and utility of land use change forecastsProvide data and assessment for protected lands
