What This Grant Funds

The US Geological Survey (USGS) is offering a funding opportunity to a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) partner for research in the development of data entry software and reproducible workflows for data visualizations and versioned data releases in support of a long-term water quality monitoring program on Lake Powell reservoir. Additionally, the project includes research for designing and building a web interface to enhance accessibility and interaction with the data and visualizations. The awardee will primarily work with a reservoir limnologist and biogeochemist to prioritize tasks and to ensure data are organized, QAQC’d, visualized, and served in the most useful format for research applications and communication with stakeholders.
