GRANTQUICK SUMMARYPlain-English Overview

HHS/OPA is funding one $500K award for the NAVIGATE Reproductive Center of Excellence — a center focused on network-building, assessment, validation, and guideline development in reproductive health. This appears to be a coordination center that synthesizes evidence and develops clinical standards for reproductive healthcare delivery. Single award cooperative agreement.

Who Should Apply

Academic medical centers or large research institutions with nationally recognized reproductive health programs, evidence synthesis capacity, and clinical guideline development experience.

Who Should NOT Apply

Community health centers, direct service providers, advocacy organizations, or institutions without reproductive health research infrastructure.

Key Requirements (Plain English)

  • Must focus on assessment, validation, and guideline development in reproductive health
  • Must have capacity for network coordination
  • Single award of $500K
  • Must serve as a center of excellence (not direct service delivery)
  • No cost-sharing required

💡 GrantQuick Tip

Single-award 'Center of Excellence' grants almost always have an incumbent or a pre-identified leading institution. If you're a top-5 reproductive health research program with existing HHS/OPA relationships, this is winnable. Otherwise, consider partnering with the likely awardee as a network member rather than competing head-to-head.

Competitiveness: Very high — single $500K award for a national center of excellence. Likely 3-5 institutions with credible capacity.
