GRANTQUICK SUMMARYPlain-English Overview

FEMA CTP flood mapping for Region 6 (South Central: AR, LA, NM, OK, TX). Same terms: $41M, 100 awards, up to $5M, pre-qualified CTP partners only. Texas and Louisiana have massive ongoing flood mapping needs (Hurricane Harvey aftermath, Mississippi River, Gulf Coast).

Who Should Apply

CTP partners in AR, LA, NM, OK, TX.

Who Should NOT Apply

Non-CTP partners or entities outside Region 6.

Key Requirements (Plain English)

  • Active CTP Partnership Agreement in Region 6
  • Produce flood hazard data/maps
  • 100 awards up to $5M each

💡 GrantQuick Tip

Texas and Louisiana CTP partners have enormous demand — post-Harvey Houston mapping, Louisiana coastal subsidence, and Arkansas river flood zones are all FEMA priorities. Apply with your highest-priority unmapped or outdated areas.

Competitiveness: Very low — pre-qualified, near-guaranteed.

What This Grant Funds

The Cooperating Technical Partners Program (CTP) is one mechanism that FEMA and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) use to deliver flood information to communities. CTP recipients develop flood hazard data and maps for communities to increase public awareness of flood risk and potential actions to reduce that risk.

With flood mapping capacity and capabilities, CTPs strengthen the local ability to make informed decisions about reducing flood risk. The data that the program provides also contributes to responsible planning and decision-making across government agencies and the private sector.

Please note that total FY 2026 CTP Program Funding is $41,000,000 across 9 regions.
