What This Grant Funds
The U.S. Embassy Baghdad Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) announces an open competition to implement English Access Microscholarship Program for Central and Southern Iraq. The Public Diplomacy Section seeks to provide Iraqi youth with educational opportunities through English-language instruction in accordance with Mission Iraq goals. English language skills are an important tool for Iraqi youth seeking access to higher education, employment, exchange programs, and broader engagement with the global community.
Who Can Apply
● US and foreign not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations
● Public and private educational institutions
● Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions.
● Have demonstrated experience developing and administering similar programs.
● Have the capacity to operate in Iraq and/or have active partnerships with organization(s) operating in Iraq.
