What This Grant Funds

The purpose of the Bollards Competitive Grant Program is to provide funding for bollard installation projects designed to prevent pedestrian injuries and acts of terrorism in areas used by large numbers of pedestrians. Eligible applicants under the Bollards Competitive Grant Program are State Departments of Transportation (State DOTs) and local government entities such as any city, county, town, parish, village, or other general-purpose political subdivision of a State). The Bollards Competitive Grant Program allows for the Federal share of the project to be 100 percent. Please refer the "Related Documents" tab in Grants.gov for the full text of the NOFO.
