What This Grant Funds

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications to enhance, test, implement, and evaluate policies, practices, and technology to address and reduce the use of contraband cellphones in correctional facilities. This program furthers the Department's mission by reducing violence within correctional facilities and enhancing public safety. This solicitation incorporates the OJP Grant Application Resource Guide by reference. The OJP Grant Application Resource Guide provides guidance to applicants for the preparation and submission to OJP of applications for funding. If this solicitation expressly modifies any provision in the OJP Grant Application Resource Guide, the applicant is to follow the guidelines in this solicitation as to that provision.
