BJA FY24 National PREA Resource Center – Invited to Apply

With this solicitation, BJA seeks to continue funding the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Audit Function. The National PREA Resource Center (PRC) delivers training and technical assistance (TTA) to state, local, and tribal corrections and law enforcement professionals, victim advocates, and others working to eliminate sexual abuse and sexual harassment in confinement settings, and to implement the PREA Standards. BJA is funding the continuation of mission-critical work related to the PREA Audit Function, with a focus on enhancing the PREA Audit Instrument, carrying out activities related to the PREA Audit Oversight Program, administering systems to support PREA audits, and training, certifying, and recertifying PREA auditors.
