What This Grant Funds

OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. This solicitation provides funding for applicant organizations to enhance and expand mentoring services for youth populations that are at risk or high risk for juvenile delinquency, victimization, and juvenile justice system involvement. There are three categories under which organizations can apply, including: Mentoring Organizations (1 state), Mentoring Organizations (2 - 10 states), and Mentoring Organizations (11 - 44 states).
