What This Grant Funds
OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats and builds trust between law enforcement and the community.The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is committed to enhancing the Nation’s capacity to assist crime victims and provide leadership in changing attitudes, policies, and practices to promote justice and healing for all victims of crime. Under this program, OVC will fund a program to develop or expand statewide Elder Justice Coalitions. The funded applicant will make and monitor subgrants to seven Coalitions and support them and other established coalitions across the United States, by providing national-scope technical assistance.
