OJJDP FY 16 Mentoring for Child Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation and Domestic Sex Trafficking Initiative

Eligible applicants are limited to states (including territories), units of local government (including federally recognized tribal governments, as determined by the Secretary of the Interior), nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education). Eligible applicants must initiate mentoring services to youth who are 17 years old or younger. Recipient organizations, including for-profit organizations, must agree to forgo any profit or management fee. OJJDP welcomes applications that involve two or more eligible entities; however, one eligible entity must be the lead applicant and the others must be proposed as subrecipients. The lead applicant must be the entity with primary responsibility for administering the funding and managing the entire project. OJJDP will consider only one application per lead applicant; however, subrecipients may be part of multiple proposals.
