OVC FY 16 Identifying and Preventing Gender Bias in Law Enforcement Response to Victims Demonstration Initiative

Eligible applicants are limited to national law enforcement organizations, national membership organizations, and regional membership organizations. For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fees. Applicants must have demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and experience in advancing law enforcement response to domestic violence and sexual assault. Additionally, applicants must be able to identify and work with key stakeholders, gather comprehensive victim services information, and effectively manage up to six demonstration sites addressing gender bias in law enforcement response. OVC welcomes applications that involve two or more entities that will carry out the funded Federal award activities; however, one eligible entity must be the applicant and the other(s) must be proposed as subrecipient(s). The applicant must be the entity with primary responsibility for administering the funding and managing the entire project. Only one application per lead applicant will be considered; however, a subrecipient may be part of multiple proposals.
