What This Grant Funds

This program will support direct victim assistance service grants to state, tribal, and local law enforcement agencies in small, mid-sized, and large jurisdictions to hire staff to develop new or enhance existing law enforcement-based victim service programs, better coordinate services, and develop partnerships with community-based programs to address the needs of crime victims. A strong focus will be placed on reaching victims in high-crime areas and improving services to these crime victims.
