This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD Funding Opportunity (FO) P13AS00022 to the Geologic Society of America, GeoCorps America. No application or solicitaions are being accepted on behalf of the FO P13AS00022 This agreement presents the procedures for the participation by staff and members of the Geological Society of America (GSA), in administering a program that will provide geoscientists and other Earth scientists opportunities to assist the NPS with inventorying, monitoring, research, and interpretation / education of geologic and other natural resources on lands administered by the National Park Service, hereinafter called the "NPS". This agreement establishes procedures for partnering between the NPS Geoscientists-in-the-Parks and the GSA GeoCorps America¿ Programs (GeoCorps-GIP). This Agreement also provides opportunities for NPS and GSA to work together on additional programs with common goals.
