What This Grant Funds

The United States Government, represented by the Agency for International Development (USAID) in Guatemala, is seeking comments on a draft Program Description (PD) for the Basic Education Quality and Transition to Lower Secondary Activity. This Request for Information (RFI) offers the opportunity for interested individuals and organizations to provide recommendations on approaches for the implementation of this activity. USAID plans to issue a Request for Applications (RFA) within the next few months, subject to availability of funds. This RFI is open for comments from any interested U.S. and Non‐U.S. organizations.

Issuance of this RFI and posting the draft PD for comments does not constitute a request for applications which will come later through a separate process. The RFI does not represent any award commitment on the part of the Government, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of any comments or questions.
