This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)  Mission to Pakistan. The purpose of this notice is to gauge interest from Pakistani local organizations to  provide services for the activity titled “Water Governance Sindh Activity”  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 541990 All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services https://www.naics.com/search/


Please note this is not a Request for Application (RFA), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue any solicitation or Notice of Funding  Opportunity, or ultimately award a contract or assistance agreement on the basis of this notice, or to  pay costs for any information voluntarily submitted as a result of this request.  


USAID/Pakistan anticipates awarding a three-year cooperative agreement for the implementation of the WGS activity. Under the WGS activity, the Recipient will provide high-quality, reliable, timely and objective intervention to support Municipal Committee Jacobabad (MCJ) to build its management and operational capacity in order to service water delivery, water and solid waste management for the residents of the city.  The primary focus of the Activity will be capacity building and community mobilization that is aligned with supporting MCJ becoming a self-reliant and financially viable municipal organization. The Recipient will also work with other government departments and offices to ensure smooth and timely operations resulting in high customer satisfaction for the residents of Jacobabad (See Attachment-B for the Program Description).
