What This Grant Funds

The “Offset National Emissions through Sustainable Landscapes (ONE-SL)” Program is a cooperative agreement that will support the transition from project-scale Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) to jurisdictional and national REDD+ action in select countries to achieve greater emissions reductions and to utilize any excess emissions as marketable transactions for carbon offsets to commercial actors.

Who Can Apply

Eligibility is limited to U.S. non-profit/nongovernmental organizations subject to section 501 (c) (3) of the U.S. tax code, foreign non-profit organizations, U.S. and foreign educational institutions, and public international organizations. Technically eligible submissions are those which: 1) arrive electronically to www.grants.gov or SAMS Domestic by the designated deadline; 2) have heeded all instructions contained in the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), including length and completeness of submission; and 3) do not violate any of the guidelines stated in the solicitation and this document.
