What This Grant Funds

The goal of this program is to enhance strategic prevention and stabilization efforts in West Africa through support to the Economic Community of West African States’ (ECOWAS) existing early warning system known as ECOWARN.  The program will focus on increasing the ability of existing National Centers for Coordination of Response Mechanism (NCCRMs) to identify and respond to conflict and atrocity risks through early warning analytics and cooperation with ECOWAS headquarters.
